Noted restaurateur (Café Fiorello, Trattoria Dell’ Arte, Red Eye Grill, Brooklyn Diner, Bond 45 and two restaurants at National Harbor on the Potomac) opened Florian, an Italian restaurant on Park Avenue South in New York City.

Shelly Fireman, also a sculptor whose studio is in Pietrasanta, Italy, wanted Florian to reflect the culture and atmosphere of cafes and galleries in Italy. Adding to the décor, Fireman brought his life size bronze sculptures from his studio to become centerpieces of the restaurant.
